We are looking for a motivated Restoration Technician who seeks a long-term career that will challenge and grow them both professionally and personally. Trusted by Insurance Builders and commercial clients, this role plays a pivotal part in delivering rapid response, high quality workmanship and top end site reporting. Reporting directly to the State Manager, the Restoration Technician i s responsible for (but not limited to) site reporting, technical restoration, treatment and cleaning of allocated sites. It is predominantly a multi-site based role and includes dealing with customers and utilising specialised restoration equipment. Tasks Include: Provide excellent customer service. Conduct initial make-safe works for water, mould, fire and other restoration related projects. Complete reports and technician duties for water damage, fire damage & mould projects. Carry out installation, monitoring and reporting of mitigation & restoration equipment. Complete mould cleaning and fire wash down of relevant areas including the usage of restoration chemicals. Complete inventory reports restorable/non restorable contents items Complete steam-cleaning of carpets. Liaise with internal office staff, project managers, external contractors & clients. Work closely with office-based project coordination teams, estimators/supervisors and managers. Work to deliver quality, customer service focussed and WHS compliant restoration outcomes. Adhere to company guidelines/policies. Be available for on-call emergency work allocation (weekends & overtime). Qualifications Full Drivers License and Construction Induction Card. Have a current Working with Children Check and police check (or willing to obtain prior to commencement). IICRC qualification highly regarded. Key Skills & Attributes: Previous experience in restoration, trades, construction or maintenance (highly desirable) Experience managing multiple work sites Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Customer service skills and good communication skills are essential Most importantly a strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn Why join us?
